Our Story

It all started when Akiva proposed to Bracha! Friends and family around the world wanted to share in the simcha and asked how they could send wedding gifts to the new couple in Israel from afar. Little did they know how complicated this would be.

It turned out that receiving gifts from loved ones abroad was quite a logistical headache. Sending gifts from America seemed crazy. Wine glasses? They’d break on the way over. A KitchenAid mixer? It wouldn’t even work in Israel. Blankets? Too bulky. Dinnerware? Too heavy. And, of course, Israeli websites in Hebrew were out of the question and there were no registries in Israel to be found. Why did it need to be so complicated?
